Lisa Ayerst graduated from Vanderbilt University with a B.A. in Mathematics with a minor in Computer Science. She earned her Masters of Teaching with a concentration in mathematics from the University of Memphis. For twenty years she worked in the technology field, primarily as a computer consultant and technology coach. Her passion for teaching led her to the classroom. She is an experienced mathematics teacher and tutor with over fifteen years as an instructor at St. George's Independent School, Collierville, Tennessee. As a founding member of the upper school faculty, she was instrumental in establishing the standards and curriculum for the mathematics department, as well as, establishing a solid reputation for teaching Algebra I, Geometry, and Algebra II, and mathematics tutoring for ACT and SAT. She is available to tutor in all middle and upper school mathematics subjects, including AP Calculus AB.
